On the occasion of the Food & Science Festival, Cibo per la Mente , the manifesto for innovation in the Italian agri-food sector signed by 14 associations in the supply chain, is pleased to invite you to the meeting "Foods at risk of extinction".
It's not just the panda that's at risk of extinction; some foods are too. From San Marzano tomatoes to Carnaroli rice to basil: even the symbols of Made in Italy need research to survive. How can science help them?
Deborah Piovan , farmer and spokesperson for Cibo per la Mente, and Vittoria Brambilla, researcher and geneticist at the University of Milan, will talk about it on Saturday 18 May – 3 pm, Sala delle Lune e dei Nodi, via Calvi 28 - Mantua.
